In het Brits Museum is tot 6 maart 2011 een schitterende tentoonstelling te zien. Het museum bezit een collectie van formaat op het gebied van papyri met Oudegyptische voorstellingen van het hiernamaals en begrafenisrituelen, zoals de papyrus van Hunefer (foto boven). Deze papryri zijn allemaal uit de kast getrokken en uitgerold, zoals de 37 meter lange papyrus van Nesitanebisheroe, een dochter van koning Pinodjem II (950 v.Chr.). De tentoonstelling is ingericht onder de koepel van de welbekende Reading Room! Op de foto beneden zitten de twee leeuwen die de horizon dragen waarin de zon op- en ondergaat. Zij heten Gisteren (rechts) en Morgen (links).<\/p>\n
